Restaurant Summary by Allan Borgen:

Fast food breakfast, lunch and dinner items as well as real smoked ribs, tri tip and chicken in one restaurant? I didn’t think it was possible but Cowboy Burgers and BBQ in Fontana off of Etiwanda Ave. not only does it, but does an excellent job doing it. The large western themed family restaurant is the perfect setting to enjoy large portions of very tasty sandwiches, salads, breakfast items that most all fast food restaurants offer at very reasonable prices considering the quality and huge portions of food they serve.

The menu features lots of choices to choose from with my favorites being the zesty Chili Cheese Omelet, the juicy Steak and Egg and the whopping 3/4lb California Burger with crisp bacon, cheese and avocado. Then there is the impressive hand breaded Fried Codfish Dinner, which comes with 3 delicious pieces of fish fried golden brown and served with fries. On the BBQ side, I enjoyed the delicious smoked Pork Spareribs and the tender Tri Tip dinner plate. Talk about a great variety of flavors and taste. Let me tell you folks: they mean business with their BBQ! The ribs, tri tip and chicken are all smoked in the rear of the restaurant using large pieces of hickory woods that impart that wonderful hickory smoke flavor. Why eat at large chain fast food restaurants when you can enjoy really good grub at Cowboy Burgers and BBQ. Whether you dine in hit the drive thru, Cowboy’s got you covered. They also have a second location in Rancho Cucamonga.
