Restaurant Summary by Allan Borgen:
Open since 1940, Centro Basco in Chino remains one of the oldest Basque Restaurants still open in Southern California. The sprawling restaurant features a huge dining room along with a multitude of other smaller rooms and a nice fully stocked bar.
In addition to the menu items, you can also enjoy the multi course meal served at the traditional Family-Style “Boarder’s” table. Under the guidance of Bernadette, her brother Joe and her mother Monique Berterretche, Centro Basco is indeed a very special and historic restaurant one must experience.
My favs were the pork chops; ($16.95), Lukinka Sausage and egg noodles ($15.95), and the Veal pot roast ($13.95.)
