Restaurant Summary by Allan Borgen:
Forget the large chain cookie-cutter restaurants, Connal’s in Upland may be considered a “fast food” restaurant but once you have sampled their varied menu you’ll never go back to the same old boring food again.
Connal’s is a free standing fast food restaurant decked out in red and white with lots of 50’s & 60’s memorabilia. All items are made fresh when ordered and most everything is made on the premises including the delicious crispy breaded fried zucchini and onion rings. I have to mention that the fried Zucchini sticks are some of the best I’ve ever had, they magically stay crispy all day and aren’t greasy, what a winner. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Connal’s is a great alternative to the boring large chain fast food restaurants with pre-made foods.
You must try the Bacon, Avocado and Cheeseburger Combo, Italian Grinder, Pastrami Sandwich and Pastrami Chili Fries-oh my! Like the original Connal’s in Pasadena, Connal’s #2 is yet another winning restaurant in the Inland Valley.
