Located on the corner of Foothill & Haven Ave. in Rancho Cucamonga, Koyla Charcoal Grill Indian Restaurant is a truly special Indian restaurant. In addition to all of the popular and traditional Indian items found on most Indian restaurant menus, owners Ranjit Singh and Semon Kaur as well as their talented cooks prepare some very creative and original dishes with a twist of Italian influences thrown into the mix. All of their delicious dishes are made fresh to order and if you enjoy your food hot and spicy, Koyla offers some dishes that are delicious and will curl your hair up. For lunch, you can order off the menu or partake in a fantastic lunch buffet that is available Monday – Friday with over 20 choices of salads, hot entrees, soups and desserts to choose from and at a very affordable price. The classy, modern looking dining room is the perfect setting for some of the tastiest Indian dishes in the Inland Valley. Some of my favorites include the unique Fried Calamari Masala sautéed with onions. bell peppers, celery and ginger, the delicious Shrimp Pakora, the Zesty Chili Fish with bell peppers, onions, lemon juice, Indian spices and peanuts, the impressive Tandoori Grill with Chicken Tikka, Fish Tikka, Lamb Tikka, Sheekh Kabob & Tandoori Chicken as well as the wonderful Pesto Chicken in a flavor laden Indian pesto cream sauce. Don’t forget to try some of their outstanding breads (Naan) that are cooked in the Tandoori oven and are crisp and perfect for sopping up their wonderful sauces. No matter what you order, you will be very pleased with Koyla. For your convenience, they also have a second location in Ontario at 1845 E Holt Blvd, near the airport which is just as good as this one.
