Restaurant Summary by Allan Borgen:

Located next to Marie Callendar’s restaurant on Florida Ave. in Hemet, this large free standing Mexican Restaurant is the perfect place to treat yourself to some of the tastiest traditional as well as original Mexican dishes in the Inland Empire. All of the items on the menu are made fresh on the premises including their delicious hand made corn & flour tortillas. The interior of this massive family restaurant has a nice festive Mexican feel to it while the large bar area serves up all of your favorite cocktails and beers. In addition to a large variety of items to choose from on the menu, Los Vaqueros also offers an excellent lunch buffet featuring a wide variety of traditional Mexican dishes we have all come to love at a very reasonable price. If you are looking for a great Sunday Buffet Brunch, the one offered here is outstanding too. Some of the many delicious dishes i highly recommend include the Asada Steak, Chile Relleno & Enchilada Special Dinner, the Grande Fajitas, incredible Calamari Veracruz, the unique Sizzling Enchiladas and the tasty Taco Salad. No matter what you order, you will absolutely love the food, service and the reasonable prices. I can’t wait to eat my way through the menu!

  1. We always enjoy the Sunday Brunch…..and the regular menu is. Great. The staff and servers are always very pleasant and service is fast and well maintained. Don’t miss out on the freashly made torillas………….your 1st visit will NOT be your last!

  2. Love this restaurant! I drive an hour to come!
Only one problem ….. It has ruined our family for
Other Mexican food! This is the best hands down!

  3. Always great food, combos are filling and albondigas soup and fajitas tostada are awesome.

  4. Regarding recent show on Los Vaqueros, Allan asked for name suggestions for the chocolate chip ice cream dessert shown at the end of the segment (after the fried ice cream).

My suggestions are: choco-mint chip-n-dip; or saltamontes (Spanish for grasshopper)

  5. I won 2 free Sunday Brunches from FeedMe411 to Los Vaquero’s, so my husband and i went yesterday. It was fantastic!! The food was awesome, the service good, and the staff was friendly. We will definitely be going back again!

  6. I won 1 Free Sunday Brunch from FeedMe411 to Los Vaqueros so I took myself out for Fathers Day. One of my favorite places as they have great food. Was my first time going for Sunday Brunch. Enjoyed it a lot! Thanks! Will be going back again of course!

  7. happy hour is four hours long from 3 pm to 7 pm it is a must try
Friendly staff, great drinks, super food, and close to everywhere for a taxi ride!
No drinking and driving be safe!

  8. I ate here while visiting a friend in Hemet. All in All it was pretty good, My only complaint was that the re-fried beans tasted like they were from a can.
