The Monarch Asian bistro in the Canyon crest town center is the one of the most elegant and impressive Asian restaurants in Riverside, serving outstanding traditional as well as original Thai and Chinese dishes for more than 25 years. Besides the beautiful interior, the food is delicious and the prices are more than fair considering the quality food served here.
Some of the many dishes I recommend include the spicy jungle curry, the crispy and sweet firecracker beef, the delicious Strawberry chicken, the Monarch Steak with a tasty lemongrass garlic sauce, fresh Miso Salmon, Szechuan Fish and that Talay Quartet with sautéed scallops, fish, shrimp, calamari, onions, and basil in a zesty Thai chili sauce. I guarantee the flavors will keep you coming back again and again like me.
FYI, every Friday & Saturday night there is live music, which makes Monark even more special.
