Restaurant Summary by Allan Borgen:

Tired of eating those same old boring breakfast and lunch items that the well known chain restaurants serve? If so, come to Rabi’s Café in Upland for some delicious home style grub at super cheap prices.

Rabi’s Café is one of those small, hidden from the public’s eye type of great restaurant that takes pride in serving fresh and hardy classic and original breakfast and lunch entrees seven days a week. The country style decorations in the large dining room makes one feel at home while a small secluded meeting room is perfect for that small intimate gathering. and the friendly service plus delicious food is what keeps the locals coming back again and again.

I recommend you try the Rabi’s Club Sandwich which is more food than a person can handle,, the homestyle Chicken Fried Steak and lastly the tasty Corned Beef Hash for breakfast.

  1. Like the gentleman in the video, I enjoy coming to Rabi’s because the food is great, but I continue to come back because of the owners. The first time my wife and I went to Rabi’s, Rabbi actually sat down with us as she ran through the entire menu with us giving us suggestions and throwing in some wonderful personality. Rabbi and her husband really do a great job of making you feel at home whenever you enter their establishment. My favorite items on the menu are the chili omelet, the reuben, and the Jacob Says Hi…, but everything we’ve had on the menu has been fresh and flavorful. I highly suggest trying their soups and every one we’ve tried so far has been amazing. Just keep in mind, though, that they are only open until 2:30pm daily. You don’t want to miss out on this little hidden gem in Upland.

  2. After eating here twice, I am no longer entranced. Yes, the staff is friendly, but, honestly, that is what we should expect. The food is ordinary diner fare, and is in no way memorable. I probably will find another way to spend my dining dollar.
