Restaurant Summary by Allan Borgen:

Located next to the Edwards Jurupa Stadium 14 theater in Jurupa Valley is a neat restaurant & sports bar called The Beach Grill & Bar. As you enter, you are greeted by tropical  themed thatched roofs, bamboo curtains and lots of surf boards adorning the walls along with a huge fully stocked bar with lots of draft beers.  You’ll discover 10 TV screens as well a small area featuring a few pool tables, a dart machine and a digital jukebox. The exciting menu features lots of items that you normally don’t find in this type of restaurant but is sure a welcoming site for those of us who like to eat.

Some of my favorites include the unique and delicious Pineapple Coconut Habanero Hot Wings, the 12oz. juicy aged and hand cut New York Steak, the slowly cooked mesquite 16oz. Prime Rib, and two of their huge hand crafted half-pound burgers, the Guido which consists of ground beef , pepperoni and Italian Sausage in one patty topped with fresh bruschetta, provolone cheese, lettuce and a herb mayo; while I can’t get enough of the popular Okee, a half pound burger topped with 4 ounces of shaved prime rib, caramelized onions, sliced jalapenos, lettuce, tomato, cheddar & pepper jack cheese. Both come with fries and are excellent burgers!

Other items I recommend include the Angel Hair Pesto with the rich and creamy pesto and cheese sauce, the hefty Tsunami Sandwich, layers of sliced beef, turkey, ham, bacon, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato and avocado on a Hoagie roll.

I really like the attention put into each dish and know you will love this restaurant while watching your favorite sports team or just enjoying some excellent food along with your favorite beverage. Just as a heads up, they currently only serve breakfast on Sundays, but be sure to try the delicious crabcake eggs benedict.

  1. I came in at 2:00 p.m. on a Tuesday. Only 3 patrons were there, all at the bar. I was promptly seated and given my choice of beverage– water. I ordered the $10.00 Tsunami Sandwich. It was delivered in 10 minutes. The Tsunami is:
Sliced prime rib, turkey, ham, bacon, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, avocado on a hoagie roll, with a ton of fries.

It was a great, “bodacious” sandwich. I could only eat 3/4 of it and couldn’t even start on the fries, so I had some great leftovers for home. This place has many big screen TVs tuned to sports events as well as surfing paraphernalia. The place deserves more business than it seems to be getting. I would go back again.

  2. Just a note: I called last Sunday to ask about the Eggs Benedict but was told that they were not available. So check ahead if that’s what you want. It’s only supposed to be available on Sundays.

  3. Review of The Beach, 8022 Limonite Ave, Riverside, CA (951) 360-4700

I arrived on a Monday at 12:30 p.m. and was seated promptly. The place has many big screen TVs, tuned to various sports events. It is also decorated with all sorts of surfing paraphernalia. There were only 10 patrons, not much of a lunch crowd.

Using my $10 gift coupon from FeedMe411, I ordered the massive Guido Hamburger for $11. It arrived in 13 minutes. “The Guido” is Beef, Pepperoni and Italian Sausage all ground together on a Bruschetta Bun with Provolone Cheese, Lettuce and Herb Mayo. There was a massive pile of Fries on the side, with a tasty Roasted Pepper.

It was delicious but I could only eat the hamburger, leaving the fries to be eaten at home. BTW– The waiter filled my water glass multiple times and had an attitude, but it was an enjoyable attitude.
